Food is excellent. Service was really good. During weekday it's a bit easy to get the seats but on weekends you'd probably have to wait for 20minutes to get a table. Also I appreciate Manu who took care of our requirements.
Authentic and mesmerisingly tasty and fresh Kerela food. Warmly greeted by some of the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever encountered who explained each and every dish I ordered. When the food came out it was piping hot and freshly made. The food itself was out of this world in terms of flavour. I will definitely be retuning back here when I come back to Dubai. 10/10
We were looking for best Indian restaurant and our driver took us to Karama. And ended at Calicut Paragon. The restaurant is easily located and the lunch menu has many options. After much pondering, we decided to opt for Fried fish as a starter. Praveen who was taking our order recommended the fish and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The delicacy of spices was scrumptious. It was a fantastic lunch for us to remember and highly recommended. Praveen took good care of us and gave us some good information about the fish.
Probably the most authentic regional (Malyali/Kerela) Indian cuisine I have had outside of Kerela. It was like being transported to both India and Kerela through the food and the environment of the restaurant. We ordered spicy crab and chicken fry for starters, spicy fish cooked in earthen pot, muton biriyani and parathas. All the dishes were excellent in terms of authenticity, flavours and quality. Kudos to Calicut Paragon for that. That did explain the big queue outside and one hour of wait during lunchtime.
